Khepri Films' screen-life satire takes top honors at the October 2026 festival

LOS ANGELES, November 6, 2026 -- Indie production studio Khepri Films proudly announces that its cosmic horror feature, The End Is Trending, has been awarded Best Feature Film at the October 2026 Dunwich Horror Fest. The award marks a massive critical milestone for the film following its exclusive digital premiere on the creator platform MY CHANNEL earlier this month.

Named in honor of H.P. Lovecraft’s mythos, the Dunwich Horror Fest is dedicated to uplifting independent filmmakers and creating a safe, inclusive space for creators across all genres. The festival famously champions passion-driven projects.

The End Is Trending, a 90-minute film, uses a Lovecraftian apocalypse—specifically the awakening of the elder god Cthulhu—to explore the profound need for empathy and authentic human connection in a toxic, hyper-digital world.

The End Is Trending is currently streaming for free exclusively for subscribers on the film's official MY CHANNEL page (mychannel.co/theendistrending) until December 1. Following this viewing window, the film will move to traditional distribution channels.
