The film, running 90 minutes, follows an Internet trend that inadvertently unleashes an apocalyptic elder god, Cthulhu, into the world. Taking place entirely on a social media timeline with a screen-life and found-footage approach, the story focuses on an influencer's boyfriend and estranged sister as they try to unlock the secrets of the Cthulhu cult and rescue her before the world ends.
